GDPR compliance is a key concern of CUBS, and we are continuously evaluating how we can offer our billing clients ever better protection in this area.
Since the summer of 2022, we have introduced a new service for sending emails from CUBS. This is Mandaa EUmail (https://mandaa.io), which has replaced Sendgrid as our primary provider of email delivery.
Mandaa EUmail is developed from Spain by a European team and hosted in Denmark. No subcontractors are used in EUmail. The focus is on providing a GDPR secure platform for sending transactional emails. Mandaa EUmail does not use public cloud, but is delivered from a professional data center in Denmark. This ensures 100% compliance with GDPR.
A mandate of EUmail is that CUBS and our settlement clients can get support on EUmail in both Danish and English and in our own time zone. Since the Mandaa EUmail team is based in the EU, they also know everything about the issues surrounding GDPR. CUBS is an “early adapter” of EUmail and listens to the needs and wishes of our billing clients, so that new features are continuously introduced into EUmail based on these wishes and needs.
